Welcome to the West Point Chamber of Commerce website. It is my privilege to serve as
President for the 2007-08 term. I look forward to the challenge and responsibility in assisting
with the many new directions that the West Point area is growing.
The West Point Chamber is a diverse group of businesses and business people. I am excited
to get the opportunity to work with everyone this next year and challenge everyone to get
involved in the Chamber. This is your community and your Chamber. Our success is only as strong
as our member's commitment.

You can watch live video of the construction of the new Donald E.
Nielsen Community Center, under construction just East of Neligh Park in West Point,
Nebraska. The $4 million dollar project is being built with private donations, and will
replace the city's 95-year-old City Auditorium. The nearly 40,700-square-foot facility will
feature a spacious hall for banquets, receptions, and meetings. An educational wing will provide
distance learning opportunities and classes for Northeast Community College. Expected completion
date is the summer of 2008.
The purpose of the West Point Chamber of Commerce
is to aggressively seek to unite and promote economic, cultural and social resources
of the community to insure the continued growth and prosperity of the West Point
area.
